Preview notice · Updated 29 October 2026

This notice describes the current design preview. It is not a final, approved privacy policy for a production NamPPF service.

Enquiry form.

When you submit an enquiry with your consent, the application stores your name, email address, optional organisation and message for authorised NamPPF staff to review and respond. The team can assign the enquiry, track its status and record a resolution note.

Subscribed staff receive a notification linking to the protected enquiry. The notification does not include your message text. Please do not include sensitive personal information. You can also use the published email or telephone links to contact the team through your own mail or phone application.

Preferences & saved reading.

The application uses browser-local storage to remember your selected appearance and the documents or programme entries you choose to save. Reading-list keys are namppf-reading-list-v1 and namppf-2025-reading-shortlist. These lists contain document or entry identifiers, not contact-form entries.

This information is kept in your browser rather than a NamPPF account. You can remove individual saved items in the resource library or programme shortlist, change the appearance using the theme control, or clear this site’s data in your browser settings. If storage is unavailable, reading lists are kept only for the current visit.

Cookies, analytics & hosting.

The application does not add advertising trackers, analytics integrations or third-party video players. It does not set application cookies for these purposes. Local storage used for preferences and reading lists is separate from cookies.

Loading a website necessarily sends network requests to its hosting provider. That provider may process technical information such as IP addresses and request logs under its own policies. This preview notice does not make claims about the provider’s retention settings.

External documents & media.

The gallery displays selected supplied Forum photographs directly on this site. Original documents and video recordings may open on external websites, including NIPDB, Google Drive and YouTube; those services have their own privacy and cookie practices. The gallery does not embed a third-party photo player.

About the visual media.

The homepage sequence begins with a documentary photograph of the inaugural Forum panel, followed by four AI-generated conceptual scenes: offshore energy, renewable electricity, green hydrogen and mining. The conceptual scenes illustrate sectors relevant to the dialogue; they are not photographs of named facilities or projects. Additional education and healthcare illustrations are also AI-generated concepts, not documentary images.

Only the background imagery changes. The headline and links remain fixed. The sequence changes approximately every five seconds with a gentle crossfade, and can be controlled manually. Operating-system reduced-motion settings stop automatic transitions. No homepage video is loaded.

Authentic 2025 Forum photographs are identified in the homepage sequence and the embedded gallery. The earlier stock-film experiment is no longer the active homepage presentation; its source and licence record is retained for reference.

Content & availability.

The site distinguishes historical material from upcoming-event information. The 2025 Forum is an archive. NamPPF II is scheduled for 25–26 November 2026; its programme, venue, speaker list, livestream and registration arrangements remain to be supplied.

Some thematic imagery is AI-generated conceptual artwork, not a record of actual Namibian facilities or projects. Documentary event photographs are identified as such. Editorial reading guides link to original sources and should not be treated as official progress reports.

Before a public launch.

The website owner must confirm the final data-controller identity, hosting arrangements, retention periods, contact process and any future enquiry or registration services before approving a production privacy policy and terms. Enquiry storage and staff notification functionality are implemented; deployment and email delivery depend on the configured environment.
