NamPPF provides a structured space for government, business and other stakeholders to work through the conditions that shape investment, competitiveness and employment in Namibia.
A shared table for national priorities
Economic decisions rarely sit within a single institution. A business’s ability to grow may depend on infrastructure, workforce skills, financing and public services at the same time. The Forum’s design recognises the value of bringing those different perspectives into one conversation.
The concept note describes NamPPF as a Cabinet-approved platform for high-level, solution-focused engagement. Its purpose is to strengthen cooperation between public agencies and the private sector around inclusive growth and sustainable employment.
From broad ambition to specific questions
The Forum is organised around ten working groups. Five address priority sectors and five examine issues that run across the economy. This gives participants a way to connect a challenge in one industry with a wider constraint, such as access to finance or work-ready skills.
The working-group papers provide the detail behind this structure. Read alongside the concept note, they help explain both the overall purpose of the dialogue and the specific topics brought to the inaugural Forum.
What the inaugural Forum adds
The 23–24 October 2025 event in Windhoek brought together the Forum’s preparatory work, Presidential addresses, group presentations and panel discussion. The archive is a record of that starting point.
A useful distinction for readers: a published recommendation is evidence of what was proposed. It is not, by itself, evidence that the proposal has been implemented. The archive and implementation materials should be read with that distinction in mind.
Where to begin
Start with the concept note for the purpose and structure. Move to the consolidated strategy papers to understand the breadth of issues. Then use the individual group presentations and Presidential speeches for the specific discussion you want to explore.
